The Dominican Flag was made by Juan Pablo Duarte who did a lot for his community included a military leader.The three different colors,the red for instance red represents the blood of the people that were lost in tragedy while the blue in the flag represents the liberty of the country and the white cross through the flag represents the salvation in the Dominican Republic. The flag is extremely important and is seen wherever you go in the Dominican Republic in restaurants,stores and houses. The flag has an amazing meaning behind it that most don't know.
